Tentacles in New Eden

Anna and I were out exploring a new area of New Eden, up to no good, but u didn't hear that here ;) Anyway, we came across this cosmic ore site. CREEEEEPY !!
It had some strange tentacle deserted ship there. the tentacles were all moving around an such like that. We were sort of hesitant to even get to close to it. There were other things there like abandoned drills, and some old outpost that a large asteroid appeared to hav come to rest against it tearing it up some. There was a lot of other things and everything was sort of hard to focus on because there was a weird glow coming from somewhere I couldn't even quite pinpoint.
I don't know what happened way back whenever but I think whatever it was was at one time some weird drone stuff. It all just seemed sort of alive still even tho I believe it had long since become deserted. we hesitantly stayed because our curiosity was up. We stayed long enuf to be pretty sure nothing electronic or carbon still lived there.
Ohhhhewww, tingling up the spine jus looking at this place.
Here is a few pics. trust me they do NOT do it justice an there is not reely any way to get the full effect without flying around thru the stuff for a while.
Maybe you will see something like it sometime. creepy as it is I am glad I have seen it. there are a lot of strange things in New Eden and I am always amazed.

Something has happened to Ela and I am worried

I am pretty worried about now. Because Ela threw a fit and did some things an then yelled at someone an, well, jus disappeared.
all I can find so far is at last contact a Gila had jus killed her ship. But there is no reports of her losing the pod.

New Blog cover pic is up :)

I think it is more fitting and updated to what is going on these days. I prolly will tweek it a bit yet but for the most part it is there.
It depicts some things which are important to us.
Such as of course anyone knows me knows I mine a lot of ice :) so there's the ice in bottom center.
The Leopard is there because it is hands down my most important logistical ship in New Eden. It allows me quick flight between my mining operations as well as a speedy run to a market hub should Elanore need an emergency vessel.
Of course Ela's signature Caracal is represented as well. It has turned into a very multifaceted and versatile machine for Ela.
The corpse shown is sort of a dual symbol. It is Ela's corpse, she both kills stuff and dies a lot too. And of course I collect the frozen things in a few custom built freezer hangars scattered around New Eden.
For the 1st time we welcome Anna to the cover. She has come a long way and reely has become a very integral part of our little family in a lot of ways. She has that industrial side that Neither Ela or myself have. And she can travel pretty freely thru all kinds of space. Some has said she is pretty slippery like that. The Catalyst pictured with her is not just some gank ship. As her ship of choice she uses it for a whole variety of purposes with an array of fits depending on her mission. Though she has been known to add a little support to whatever mission Ela needs at the moment. It's that rebellious yet loyal side we find so fun.

For those that are not familiar with us. Anna is the blonde to the left. I ,Violet, is the raven haired one in the center (tho u will sometimes see me as a bright white blonde as a camouflage when I am mining a lot of ice ;) , And Ela is that loose canon firey redhead on the right.
So see u in space New Eden, watch for all kinds of mischievous, helpful, or just fun times.

Working on a new Blog cover:) but we need something to reflect what's going on so it is a transitional piece. Things are changing. We have things we are working on I think it will benefit here even tho we will probably be flying around less. Security wont be such a issue so we can tell you more of what's going on like that :) *\o/*. a new chapter. I think it will be fun. we will share it with you here :)

I am not certain what to do...

...I hav worked hard on the system I currently call my home.
I stand here in dock staring out at the beautiful lines of my Caracal. "Pandemonium" is what I call her, and I kno how well she has treated me. How far we have come in these last 9 or 10 Earth months since I moved here.
I feel like I have accomplished a lot. I hav cleaned myself up an I have cleaned up my home system. It have created a safe and profitable "Blue" shipping system here. It has cost me much in time, energy, isk, and diplomacy thru both convo and missiles. Things hav changed in the last few days. I understand that this is the way it is in New Eden. I am fully aware. but right now somhow I feel a depression coming over me that all I have done, all I have worked so hard for may be coming to a close. Not jus for Violet to have a safe place to harvest her ice, but for my alliance and for the friends I have made here in the region. I have a dark cloud forming over me raining thoughts of that some do not understand the full scope of what has been accomplished here, and the benefits that have derived from it.
I must keep a positive outlook. I cannot let my demons come back to haunt me as they have destroyed me in the past. I understand why Violet gets so worried that I may do something from which I can never return. I kno that she is right. I must stay strong.
I am a pirate. I AM a pirate. I am a good pirate but I am a pirate with a personal ethics and code that drives me. I have my demons, but sometimes it is those demons that drive me to be able to do things otherwise I would not be able to do without them. They giv me a passion for what I do. I do not mean to hurt others with wat I do and for those that I do I am sorry. But on the big picture I feel I have done good things. I need someone to listen. I need someone to understand an be there for me as I hav been there.

I had another "Blonde" moment

Not to stereotype anyone but jus using that old adage because sometimes it fits me.
I used to go blonde wen I did silly things like fall asleep at the helm and get shot up by rats or whatever. or doing things like fitting up a nice new barge and flying multiple systems to set up a new mining operation somewhere an not noticing that I was still in my shuttle till I got there. yes admittedly I have done that one too. I wont go into other infractions and dizzy events just leave it to say that I have been prone to them in the past.
But recently, well in the last year or so (earth year that is ) I have mostly been going Blonde, and sometimes wearing as much White as possible, as a means of utilizing a little camouflage at the icefield :)
well throw that all away and bring back the dizzy cause yesterday I accidentally purchased over 1600 rigs at one time. O M G ! yes. I did that. And it wasn't even some scammy contract.

EVE online july 15 unscheduled extended downtime

My understanding is that the Code was unsuccessfully deployed and they are trying to redeploy it.
Well, I don't know about you but I think that CODE should not be redeployed. Those guys are just annoying.
