salvaging these days

wow, has it really been since apr 29th since I posted an update? time flys. That said, I've been spending my time ratting and salvaging these days. Yes, I am finding it to be easier to NOT fall asleep at the helm. Had a run of that crap while mining and lost a few pricey barges due to that for those that don't know. duh! blonde moment, whatever. hat's all behind me and am now enjoying running around ratting.
I'm still tweaking my Catalysts fit but it's working out pretty well, tho there have been those that have thrown a fel lol's at the fit....what....ever....!!! :) it works for me and like I said, I'm still getting it together. And, waiting patiently,(sorta), for my training to complete so I can use tech 2 salvagers, about 10 days to go at this posting. yes, yes, I have already purcheased a couple of them not thinking that i wasn't alreasdy trained up to them :p
fine, they'll be there when I'm ready.

But I logged on and Fon And Hackjack were having a convo about something in chat. It came to mind that wouldn't it be fun to just sit at a bar with someone and talk in Eve lingo. Not letting anyone else at the cozy little pub on to that you are talking anything other than this worldly. Just to intentionaly make them think to themselves. WTF?

I wonder how long this could go on before someone might ask of us, "Hey, sorry to evesdrop but what are you guys talking about."

1st of all someone would have to speak up with the understanding that we would then know that they were in fact evesdropping. Maybe we could pass it off as like "Hey it's ok, we just got back from [insert some foreign countries name here]. and were talking of the opportunities there." or some such reply.

whew, what a dose of reality I have gotten this week. And the reason for the bleach.
1-DO NOT undock if you are way to tired
2-DON"T go mining if you think your going to be leaving notes like this,(iuykjhn) on your keyboard with your forehead.
3-DO make sure your sound is up to hear what is going on around you if you are very tired whilst mining in a very expensive fitted ship

Explanation: Yes dammit! I did lose 4 Fully fitted uninsured Covetors to little stupid RATS in the last week and a half because I started mining too late and fell asleep while doing so. Damn!!!

Ok, I will not be buying another for a while until things calm back a bit. But at least I did have a couple Retrievers gathering dust in a couple far flung stations. Another little while of gathering stuff from some hangars of mine gets the thing fitted up.

I also have found myself doing a variety of other stupid shits like loading ice harvesters then trying to mine kernite, wondering why it won't work. thought, "oh, A new discovery, I can't mine kernite with a strip miner 1 huh?"
DUH!
So I go back to the station at which time I think I figure out that it's because I don't have any crystals loaded up in the miners right?
DUH again.
so I wonder why the crystals won't load.

make easy isk by producing corpses for me

want to make some easy ISK? produce corpses for me. here's how:

undock from your home station
warp
while warping go to your people and places tab
choose the places tab
create bookmark while warping (this is your new "safe spot")
warp to the bookmark
leave ship
self destruct your pod
it will produce a corpse
you will be put back in your home station
Board your new ship (if you have no other ships in this station there will be a noob ship provided for you free of charge every time)

undock from your home station..repeat the steps as many times as you want

when you have done this as many times as you feel like then undock, warp to the same bookmark you created
scoop all the corpses to your cargo hold
dock in your home station
create a contract to me for 50,000 x as many corpses as you have produced.
I will accept the contract and you'll have made some easy ISK!

P.S. you can skip the warping part and create them anywhere you want but be forewarned; if you do it someplace that others regularly go you might find that people will steal your corpses before you get them. This is why I recommend creating a "safe spot" as I describe that only you know of.

Also, you might not want to use your main character for this because it destroys any implants you may have installed. See you in space!

recent corpse gathering

Well, it's been a fruitful last few days in the corpse gathering. I created a "suicide alt". This char has been flying system to system and shooting at Concord, lol. With the intent on creating corpses that she will sell to me via contract. toward the end of today tho i discovered that if I just simply shoot at a station then Concord will arrive in quick time to off her. the only problem I've found with this is that sometimes people will steal the corpses lol. so even tho it's a bit slower, because I'll have to warp to the area, I'll be looking for some lesser populated remote areas in a given system. And a system where I can be there as well for quick retrieval of the contract. I started about 18 jumps out with the whole concept and that's just too long to go to retrieve a few corpses.
I figure after this alt gets too low in standings and gets banned from high sec space then I'll go ahead and create a new one. A Gallente as I am which will start them off in a close proximity without the added hassle of multiple jumps to get to me.

So far so good

The machine seems to be holding it well. I haven't had an issue for about 6 hrs now. I think it might have leveled itself out. but then, what is level when in space? There's no way the MWD's could have handled it without that machine.
I'm going to have to subspace Neil before to long. Hopefully the rest of the memory implants went well. I think we might need to meet up. I'm not sure about the way the Sunder project is going.

All the cosmetic surgery etc is done so I'm ready to strip!.....um...asteroids.

I did go thru a number of hairstyles tho until settling on something.

well, dammit. I was really looking fwd to the new build at Eve online. Grrr!!!!! seems my computer won't run it! yes, I am one of the 0.3 percent affected. I have 2 comps here. One is my vista machine (ugly stupid dog of a computer and op sys). but I really only use it for video editing and related.
The other is my main comp. A screaming XP machine that has NO problem running anything I want to do online. Except that is, now, Eve Online.
Ok, ok, I know, get a new comp. Well I will, I know how this upgrade and tech advancement goes but damn, why'd it have to hit this time. With Eve! oh well, I'm sure it'll be a better gaming experience when I get it together.

I'm trying to load it into my vista machine right now and it's having a real hard time of it since the drive is about stuffed full of video crap that I don't want to rid myself of yet. Hey, I have 3 short films I'm working on there. I was going to load it up with win 7 as well but I need to wait until I get these films done before I start deleting crap to make room. I bought another hard drive to use as a slave but guess what? No matter what I do I can't get the machine to recognize that it even exists.

OHHHH GRRRRR!

ok, I'm just going to see if it can load the game as is ( 32 hr download time estimation) WHAAAAAT!!?? and hopefully run it here on this machine until I put together another win 7 machine...sooooon.

I wonder if they'll credit me until I can get this straightened out?

Stripping 'em off in Bahromab system

...Finally took the plunge and allocated a few of those forever saved SP's. glad I waited. Thought I'd seek out some kernite so I upped those needed skills, spent a bunch of isk and headed for Amarr space to check it out.
Feel alone out here. The corpse and warehouse hangars are 18 +/- jumps away.
Hulkageddon is drawing nigh.
Check into flying some Amarr ships around here. reduce the visibility anyway. I saw there were a few anomalies and historic sites in systems on my way here. That contested skeleton comet. I haven't been there for a while.
Well I'm going to sit back and float around here in this belt, mine, and watch a movie. And have a doughnut.
