There are lots of things going on in New Eden for us recently. A lot of things are changing. I can't get into details because of a few security issues, (that alone should speak volumes if u know us). But we are very excited with the routes we are taking. Some things are in progress and take quite a bit of focus and pre-planning. Other things we jus have to sort of react and adjust as we see fit. Sometimes it seems like we are our own worst enemy, lol, other times our little team somehow prevails.
Anna is back home in Amarr space to visit and try to do a little reconnecting with her family there. Unfortunately she was disowned to some degree by her own very rigid and wealthy Amarr family when she joined up with us after hunting for me for a some time. Anna is my half sister in case u do not already know that, in that we have the same father. Yes it is a tangled little web of a tale. I am however slowly working on the full compilation of that so you will understand how all 3 of our threads are intertwined. But still, that is for a later post as these soap operas of sorts are a very complicated thing to put together in some sort of comprehendible explanatory way :) But she found me thru Ela after being shot by her while travelling thru Ela's null sec home system. But for now she is back home schooling at her alma mater university to get some training in Amarr ships and mods. Something none of us hav done before. This should add a new degree of versatility to our little armada here.
Elanore, yeah, Ela seems to have a focus like I have never seen before. Her corp underwent some pretty huge changes recently and she is trying to focus on that a lot. it won't be an overnight effort but there is good direction. Her criminal element has been reined in some and is instead focusing on bigger things. That's not to say that Ela isn't still prone to twitchy trigger fingers and acts of random violence with a certain Catalyst that she has aptly named "Drag me to Hell". But then, Ela is a null girl 1st and foremost. But I am proud of where she has come, she has not been without fighting her own demons in the past. As you may know already, or that you will find should you traipse back through some older posts. nuf said I think.
I have been focusing more on the trade, marketing, and networking end of things. it is something I can do from the relative safety of hi sec. I did somehow manage to sort of, well, manipulate a little portion of the textile and clothing industry here, Something I hav been working on for a couple Earth years actually and so I have put that into motion. The reaping of this has begun to garner me a nice little extra income as it is a welcome thing to wake up and look at millions in my wallet that I didn't have the night before :) And of course I continue to mine ice in a variety of systems. I like mining ice and there is always some good people in the fields for fun conversation as well. Although I did venture into low sec the other day for some ice. yeah, carebear little me got a wild hair and with the cover and protection of Ela's Caracal we had quite the profitable day. It was a little nervewracking at times with the knowledge that we were mining in a system where Ela is a known criminal and had killed someone just a day prior. But for whatever reason we weren't retaliated upon and they stayed their distance. It was quite exciting and I am sure we will do it again. but for the most part I will stay in Hi sec and offer logistical and moral support for Ela's Null and low sec operations. Mind you, I am reserved about financing the criminal side of things. I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea. Ela does have her own income for these kinds of things even tho it can vary greatly and most of it is derived from the trade and transport of such things as drugs and other contraband.
Well, that's about all I can say for the time being about what's going on. Like I said there's quite a bit more and we hav recently met someone who came as very much a surprise to us and will yet again add another direction and element of adventure to our portfolio. Sorry I am not at liberty to discuss this atm. We must maintain a degree of the clandestine for our own survival you understand. After all, it is EVE. New Eden can be a very unforgiving place. Tho never without excitement and reward.
