Salvaging a junkyard is interesting. Well I should say looting it. I need to go fit a salvager :p
I'm looking for a key to an acceleration gate. Have found lots of garbage, a corpse depository, and a couple locked containers. And then there's that ship with an agent inside who won't talk to me. O.o

Eve Online Halloween Corpse Dump 2013

Post #1:

Many who know me knows I've been collecting frozen corpses for a few years now. My intention is to promote a Halloween day corpse dump. That is, in a nutshell:

Save and collect as many frozen corpses as possible then at a yet undetermined hr on Halloween 2013 we'll all dump them into space outside a variety of stations at the same time so that when ships exit station we'll be wading through those frozen sickies and zombiesque forms.


Or just search my character out in game and contract them to me as you find them! I have quite the collection in a variety of stations around new Eden with plenty of room for more.

p.s. yes, I have installed "freezer hangars" at the request of certain station managers because the smell was getting a little out of hand when they just sit there and thaw in a regular hangar ;)

Thinking about leaving Amarr space for a while.

Yeah, It's getting weird around here. I know they are strange folk with their faith and all but there's just something creepy about this place. And I don't think they like me very much. Each time I take a stroll through the station for one thing or the other I always get these sideways glances. And then the mothers pulling their kids a bit closer as they walk by me. Recently one of their priests on the local council stopped me and "kindly" asked if we could have a talk, in private. Creeeepy. But I do know him to some degree so I obliged him and said ok. He mentioned that he didn't think I was a good influence on or role model for the youngsters around here with my attire, tattoos, piercings, and stuff. He Said it's a bit dark and he worries about them becoming fascinated with something or the other. what? Who's dark Mr. Amarr guy? look at your own history a bit huh? then we can talk dark. And then there's the Frozen corpse freezer hangar. Yeah, not even going to get into that, you can imagine. Oh! and lol! he said my Retriever doesn't exactly look very "socially appropriate" with it's name, "Boat of strippers", emblazoned however smallish on each side in hot pink. Well, whatever ;) He said that he personally didn't think I was a menace or anything but that it was the perception of others that I might not be very accommodating of their faith. Yeah, you can say that again.

He said that my recent mining yields of Kernite have helped to boost the system I call homes status a bit in the market and he thanked me for that, (It has fattened my wallet substantially in recent months), but that he kindly thinks that maybe I should consider moving on. It's not that I wasn't thinking that very same thing recently and I do find it rather gloomy and depressing around here. That constant weird chanting all over the station is driving me nuts. Yeah, sure, I like dark media, red wine, and crazy music, but I enjoy these things. These people are just inherently wrong in my opinion.

We parted cordially and I said I was considering it anyway. He wished me luck in my ventures and asked me to please stop and say hello when I was passing through sometime. Yeah, I don't believe he really meant that. Fake was all over his face.

But I am considering it and am scouting a new home. Thanks Amarr for all the wealth I've stripped out of your systems. I'll go, eventually, but I won't stay gone, I just won't shop here anymore or say hi. I'm really a nice person, and a carebear not a ganker, they just have no sense of humor :p

A bit of narcissism before heading out to the clubs in Jita.

Trapped in space during the Odyssey build

I have awoken in space.

I had been mining an isolated belt full of Kernite; my drones orbiting around my ship keep their vigilant and protective watch over me. I must have fallen asleep. but I wake to something as wondrous as it is scary. The Odyssey build. the sights I am seeing out here are beautiful and terrifying. I cannot describe the magnitude and depth of them. A vast swirling chaos of binary code as the world is built anew. In the distance my systems' lone star shoots rays of life which pierces through and highlights the re-birth around me. Asteroids fizzle and are reborn, stars shudder and fade, then come to life again. black holes form, Some spew life while others draw into themselves that which was and will never be again.

But no! the code crosses my ship! A blinking from reality and then back again! and then again. I am experiencing momentary lapses in my own synaptic processes as the codec swirls around and through me, my ship and then my loyal drones blink out of existence and then return. A whiteness surrounds me, an empty scary blinding whiteness, and then the black.

It is quiet.

Ah, the asteroids have returned, I think all is ok, I watch in the distance, all around me the continuing swirl of creation. But no, it is not moving on and out to further regions of space. I am caught in the middle of some gigantic universal space hurricane of sorts. I am sitting in the eye as it moves around me, sure to cross my path once again. The swirl is becoming more intense and growing smaller as the walls of this great binary storm close on me!

Male Drone Ted! I call for you HELP ME! Breach your once and forever omnipresence through the chaos to retrieve me, my ship, my drones from this hell! carry us safely to our hangar. I am swirling, faster now; Bending, descending and blinking in and out from existence!

Eve portraits contest :)

Well I entered the portrait contest with the portrait above:) Wish me luck! We'll see how my Photography background works with a judge who has an artist background. Some of his stuff looks pretty cool you should check it out. However it goes It's fun to try anyway. Again wish me luck puleeeze. I could USE that winning pile of Isk because of my frivolous spending habits there is no doubt!

A non-Scam Scam looking ...something.

I have a non-scam scam-ish thing I use for kicks in Jita's scam filled local chat. Something a little entertaining while shopping or selling in Jita. Sometimes I get isk from people saying thanks for the honesty in a sea of crooks. If you are familiar with Local chat there you will hopefully appreciate the blatant sarcasm of this truthiness.

Here's the non-scam
"NOT A SCAM!!!! TRUTH!!!! if you give me A lot of money I will keep it safe in my wallet until I find something frivolous to spend it on. Mostly Wine and Drop so you know your isk is spent well!"

Fireworks in Dodixie

Something to do during downtime tonight. So I was flipping thru some screenshots I've taken and not looked at till now. Here's one from a few weeks-ish ago. Sitting in the Catalyst watching the fireworks in Dodixie. This was the day they gave fireworks to everyone for their launchers. It was quite the display and an individual pic can in no way describe the colorful chaos.

This would have been a good opportunity to grab some video. If I knew how to do that.

Had some fun while in Jita the other day. Was there trading a few things and buying...well...frivolous stuff (new clothes, yes) and some training manuals, new crystals for the mining operation etc etc. but anyway, anyone who has been there knows of the incessant scams that are offered up in local chat there. I just thought I'd have a bit of fun with that so I posted what you see in the image. Yeah, I posted it the same incessant way that any of the regular scammers post their "wares" and "contracts". But I did it with a SPIN as you'll see. It actually garnered me a Million ISK! LOL. Well, I won't make a habit of it, Mining does quite a bit better for my wallet. But it was fun and the sarcastic honesty did pay off a little while I was shopping :)
